Rediscover911.com Promotes Bigotry

According to the Medical Professional for 9/11 Truth website J. Edward Kendrick (Fellow in the American College of Dentists. Past President, Greater Kansas City Dental Society. Former Member, Missouri Department of Health advisory board.) is a "charter member." Aside from that credit there is little evidence that Ed has done anything constructive for the 9/11 truth movement or really participated in any significant way.

Late last year many people in the movement started receiving fairly hefty and unwanted e-mails from him. They were terse, poorly written, and appeared to be a basic attempt to drum up traffic to the site, Rediscover911.com. Most made it clear that Ed was pushing the notion that 9/11 was Israeli, Jewish, Zionist plot. Affiliated with people who say that "Jews did 911" At the time the site looked exactly like the site you see on the homepage of this website, minus the commentary, full of dumb ideas and bad grammar, and centrally focused on the unsupported notion that Israel did 9/11.

It seemed at first that Ed might have made the site himself. However analysis of the manner in which the site was programmed indicated the work of an fairly advanced web developer who had integrated a good deal of behind the scenes features to optimize search engine results. Ed is a dentist and the likelihood that we was also an advanced web developer was slim. It seemed that Ed wasn't working alone which was later confirmed.

In the following months Ed did a good deal of work to increase traffic to the site, the kind of work that marketing companies pay people to do. He sent out regular e-mail blasts. He posted the site to as many message boards and discussion forums as would allow the content. He worked to form alliances other less-than-kosher people in the movement who agreed with his bogus premise. Despite all this work, few people visited the site and the traffic remained low. Low enough that this site, Rediscover911.org was able to take the number two spot in search results for "Rediscover 9/11" with just about four hours of work and within two weeks time.

Over the past number of months Ed and his associates have been able to draw a good deal of support from those both honest and shady who promote the fallacy that there is sufficient evidence to blame Israel for the 9/11 attack. And recently the site has been rebuilt to look more reputable and also to enhance its SEO profile. Now Ed is not publicly alone in his task of promoting his disinformation. Along with him are Zan Overall, Dr. Tom Tvedten, Wendy Campbell, Judy Kemecsei, Jerry Mazza, Stephen Lendman, Adrian Salbuchi, T. Mark Hightower, and Tim Titrud.

Together they continue to push the "Israel did 9/11" meme in a manner that undermines the movement and at least superficially suggests the possibility of ulterior motives. Intentional disruption is a reality and anti-semitism has been highly effective in driving away mainstream interest in the movement. Further, we are talking about people with advanced degrees, scientific training, who should very clearly know the boundary line between fact and speculation. Yet their site is filled with very clear indications of the intent to deceive.

With their slick new website Ed and the team behind Rediscover911.com seem intent on blaming Israel while ignoring any important evidence or activism. Their commitment to the movement is far from clear.
